Charity Web Page
Sell It All Online is helping not-for-profit organizations raise money with our New Charitable Partners Program. The Charitable Partners Program is simple and it is free to all not-for-profit organizations who want to register.
We have all participating partners fill out our simple registration form. When the form is turned in to us, we create a webpage for the partner that has a colorful banner with the partner’s logo, their contact information, and a brief description of their charity. (sample: charity web page) Once the page is active it is time to promote the page!
How it works: Every time a person clicks on the “eBay” link on your inlacrosse.com partner webpage, they are sent to eBay’s website home page. The person signs in as usual and bids on the item they want to purchase/win. When that person wins the auction and purchases an item, the organization will earn a percentage of eBay’s profit from that purchase. Through the help of Sell It All Online’s custom software we can verify the purchase through our website and its links. Once the transaction has been verified through our software and the charity web link, the percentage earned by the charitable partner is allocated toward their account. Since all of the organizations will be listed under our eBay account “sellitallonline” and with our current sales, the current level is about 40% of eBay’s profits from eBay's final value fee that goes to the charity. As the program gains more participants and the total dollars increase from the buyer’s purchases, so will the eBay percentage that will be earned for the charities.
We help you raise money for your organization and you help us also because your web page is stored on our community website called InLaCrosse.com where our classifieds and our eBay store are listed in the menu system. Although you are not directly sending individuals to our website we feel they will catch on since all the web pages end in ".inlacrosse.com". We estimate that we could raise $40,000 for local organizations through this program in the first year if we can get everyone to participate.
Our Charitable Partners Program encourages people who are already planning to purchase an item on eBay to go through our partner’s webpage and it does not matter if the item is being sold by Sell It All Online or by someone else. We are creating a community website where individuals, businesses, and charities can come together.
To make this program a success, inform your potential supporters that this program is available and if they plan to buy anything on eBay they can help your organization by following these simple steps to help support your organization!
1. Go to home page and find your area and click on the link for the list of banners (a banner is a long box with a picture of the charities logo) and click on the banner of the charity you would like to go to.
2. After you found the Charity that you want to support you click on the word "eBay" in the box listed in the bottom right corner.
3. Log into eBay and buy as you normally would buy an auction item or a “buy it now” and about 1% of eBay’s sale price will go to the Charitable Partner that you picked.
Repeat this information through your bulletins, newsletters, post cards, mailers, emails or however you communicate with your current and potential supporters so that they know that it is available and remind them that it is there to use! We are also setting up an easy “favorites button” for your supporter’s internet browser so that supporting your organization is as simple as one click away!
We will send you a check for the amount that you accrued once per quarter or once you have accrued at least $50. What’s the best part? There's no limit on the amount of cash your organization can earn and you can earn it quickly and easily! We just started this program and if you look at the Charitable Partner page on our website “charity.inlacrosse.com” (don’t enter www), where the page is currently located, you can see how other organizations are already starting to accrue money!
